Tyvek is a synthetic material, known for their production of chemicals and textiles. The material is difficult to tear, but can easily be cut with scissors or a knife. Water vapor can pass through Tyvek, but liquid water cannot. All of these properties have led to Tyvek being used in a variety of applications, like Tyvek Wallets, Tyvek Envelopes, Custom Tyvek Wristbands, Kites, Origami and many more.
PU (Polyurethane) refers to a class of polymers composed of organic units joined by carbamate (urethane) links. In contrast to other common polymers such as polyethylene and polystyrene, polyurethane is produced from a wide range of starting materials (monomers) and is therefore a class of polymers, rather than a distinct compound.
Therefore, 1443R PU Tyvek fabric is coated with PU, which can reinforce its surface shape. Also, Tyvek allows you to do various coating, like PVC, TPU and so on.
